In the heart of Bressanone, the Arthotel Lasserhaus is an extraordinary example of how a historic residence can be reborn, harmoniously blending respect for the past with the demands of contemporary living. This 15th century aristocratic building, owned by the Faller family for over 80 years, has been transformed by the architects Vudafieri Saverino Partners into a refined 4-star superior Art Hotel. The first two floors are dedicated to hospitality, while the upper floors accommodate the family's private residence.

Located in the artists' quarter of Stufels, framed by the Dolomites and the vineyards of the Eisack Valley, the Arthotel Lasserhaus offers a breathtaking view of the Eisack River, Brixen Cathedral and the historic city centre. This privileged location makes it the ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding culture and nature. Bressanone, the oldest city in South Tyrol, invites visitors to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere, with hikes along the vineyards, museums to visit and scenic MTB routes. In winter, the area turns into a paradise for skiers, cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers and sledders.

Refined design combined with attention to detail has earned the Arthotel Lasserhaus prestigious international recognition. In 2024, the hotel was honoured by UNESCO as one of the ‘World's Most Beautiful Hotels’, the only one in Italy to receive the prestigious ‘Prix Versailles’.

The ten rooms - including three suites, six doubles and a single - are designed to offer an intimate and sophisticated experience. Each room is carefully designed down to the smallest detail, with fine materials such as larch and beech wood, soft velvets, brass and tactile surfaces creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Many of the furnishings, including the bed headboards and wood panelling, have been custom-designed, while some reclaimed pieces, such as the traditional Tyrolean chairs, add an authentic touch.

The building's history emerges strongly in every space, enriched by the presence of the Faller family's private collection of classical paintings, which is harmoniously interwoven with works by contemporary artists. This dialogue between past and present makes the hotel not only a place to stay, but also a point of cultural interest.

One of the special features of the building is the lobby on the ground floor, a space full of memories, with a library corner and a unique wine cellar. Here, digital artist Peter Kogler has created an immersive environment with psychedelic patterns, transforming the tasting room into a multi-sensory experience. The mezzanine houses a SPA with sauna and whirlpool, while the first floor houses the breakfast room and five other rooms.

For the well-being of guests, the hotel offers a private sauna with whirlpool, a haven of tranquillity where one can relax after a day of exploration. Located on the first floor, the Finnish sauna is open daily from 14:00 to 19:00, offering a cosy and intimate atmosphere. Guests can take advantage of a wellness bag with bathrobe, sauna towel and slippers. Discounted packages are also available for the swimming pools, sauna and gym of ‘Acquarena’, only 200 metres away.

Every morning, breakfast is served in the ‘Viertel Bar’ of the Boutique Hotel Badhaus and offers a selection of fresh, local products, from sweet to savoury. At the Alter Schlachthof restaurant, guests can enjoy typical South Tyrolean dishes, prepared with ingredients from local farmers, accompanied by a fine selection of wines and sparkling wines from the hotel's wine cellar.
